May 2011 we returned to Morocco together , there was a distant silence between us on that trip …
I went to Casablanca for business purpose and he went to Essaouira to his family , he took a short vacation to his favourite small village " Imssouan " with his younger brother(even though he has no money) , he still contacted daily over the next coming week and actually asked if I could pay for the hotel they were staying with my credit card , unbelievable !!!
Let’s not forget that we are part of a cultural heritage that is rich with diversity, tradition, and above all, a culture that considers itself wiser for its outreach to the outside world with its multidimensional influences I strongly lament the abundance of all the unconstructive criticism leveled at the author.
Everyone has the right to weigh on the merits and content of any given article, essay, statement, and point of view to the extent that they offer a platform for debate, constructive debate, wise debate, inquisitive debate with a healthy dose of wisdom.
And that means marrying half her family also who would then need loans, visas to Europe etc…
My boyfriend asked me if i knew of anyone willing to do this, he is very much in love with me and would never ask me to do that for him, although he wants his brother that he has not seen in nineteen years to come to the United States, he says his brother and my friend might hit it off, but its for the money she is going to do it for.
he advised me she wanted me to wear this on our wedding day and that I should be considering to do it very soon !!!
He bought rings when I was not with him "gold one for me , with his initials heavily engraved on the surface to show who owned this woman and a silver band for himself ( it would seem that I had now become the fiance ) At this point I searched the web for information on marrying a Moroccan and LUCKILY found this site ,began to read in amazement how many similarities there were to my already current situation.
You might find more open-minded souls in the more modern cities of Casablanca and Tangiers.
Moroccans are all Muslim to a man but it’s rarely that strict here.
